Audio Format Converter
Audio Format Converter
Audio Format Converter is a free online batch converter. It accepts MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, FLAC, OGG, Opus, WebM, and WMA, and exports MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG, or Opus.
FFmpeg.wasm performs every conversion locally in your browser, so audio is never uploaded. Queue up to 10 files, choose a practical quality preset, preview each result, download files individually, or create a ZIP when results total no more than 300 MB.
How to Use
- Drop or choose up to 10 audio files, each no larger than 100 MB
- Choose one output format and, for lossy formats, a standard, high, or very high quality preset
- Start the queue and follow each file's signal progress, status, and compatibility notices
- Preview and download each result, or package eligible results into a ZIP
FAQ
Are audio files uploaded to a server?
No. Reading, decoding, encoding, and downloading all happen in the current browser, so the audio never leaves your device.
Which audio formats are supported?
Inputs include MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, FLAC, OGG, Opus, WebM, and WMA. Outputs include MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG, and Opus.
Are song titles, artist tags, and cover art preserved?
The converter keeps text tags and cover art whenever the target container supports them. If a cover is incompatible, it retries without the cover and shows a notice.
Why does the first conversion take longer to start?
The first use downloads an FFmpeg WebAssembly core of about 31 MB. Browsers can usually reuse the cached core afterward; conversion speed depends on the file and device.
