Why can some videos not be previewed?
Selection preview depends on your browser's video decoder. A container may be accepted while the specific codec inside the file is not playable by the current browser.

MP4 works with more devices and players. WebM is well suited to the web and often keeps good quality at a smaller file size.
How precise can the trim times be?
Start and end times accept four decimal places. The actual boundary lands on a nearby decodable frame and therefore depends on the source video's frame rate.
