Temporary File Upload
Temporary File Transfer is a free online file-sharing tool: upload a file to get a share link (and access code) that anyone can open to download — no app installation or shared account needed. Great for moving files across devices or one-off sharing.
Files are held only temporarily and deleted automatically when they expire — nothing is stored long-term. Unlike messaging apps or email, files are not compressed or renamed.
How to Use
- Select or drag in the file and upload it
- Get the automatically generated share link (or access code)
- Send the link to the recipient, or open it on another device
- The recipient downloads the file; it is auto-deleted after expiry
FAQ
How long are uploaded files kept?
Files are stored temporarily and deleted automatically when they expire — never kept long-term.
Do I need an account or an app?
No. Both sides only need a browser: one uploads and shares the link, the other opens it to download.
Why use this instead of a messaging app?
No image/video compression, no file renaming, and it works across platforms without requiring contacts or logins.
Are transferred files secure?
Links contain a random identifier, so only people with the link (and code) can download; files auto-delete on expiry. For highly sensitive data, encrypt the file before uploading.
