All data lives in your browser's local storage — it survives page refreshes, is never uploaded to a server, and requires no account. Great for jotting down today's tasks, keeping a shopping list, or organizing lightweight work items.
How to Use
- Type a task in the input box and click Add or press Enter
- Check a task off when it is done
- Use the filter tabs to view all, active, or completed tasks
- Click Edit to change a task — Enter saves, Esc cancels
- Clear completed tasks periodically, or export your data as a backup

Is the todo list free?
Yes, it is completely free with no sign-up and no limit on the number of tasks.
Where is my data stored? Is it private?
Tasks are stored only in your browser's localStorage. Nothing is uploaded to a server, no one else can see your list over the network, and it persists across refreshes.
Will I lose my tasks on another device or after clearing browser data?
Yes. Data stays in the current browser only and does not sync across devices; clearing browser data deletes it too. Use the export feature regularly to back up important lists.
How do I edit an existing task?
Click the task's edit button, make your changes, then press Enter to save or Esc to cancel.
